George Best for Sydney club

The Sydney soccer club I St George-Budapest pulled off a giant promotional coup I when it announced the signings of Irish star George Best and Manchester United manager, Tommy Docherty. Best will play four matches with the club at a time to be decided and Docherty will be “guest” coach of the Saints for two weeks after the completion of the present English soccer season. The St George club president, Mr Alex Pongrass,' finalised talks with Best this week in London and persuaded Docherty to come to! Sydney. No financial arrangements; were disclosed.
