Manchester United regained the lead of the English football league first division on Saturday as its arch-rivals, Liverpool, were held to a 3-3 draw at home by Ipswich.

United won their home game against Queen’s Park Rangers, 2-1, thanks to a second half goal by the Irish international. Sammy Mcllroy, that sent 61.500 fans home happy. Liverpool, meanwhile, led three times against improving Ipswich, but the East Anglian side fought back each time to finally knock Liverpool off the top of the table.
