Coast tour by band
The Band of the New Zealand Army will this month make its first concert tour of the West Coast for four years.
Under the directorship of Warrant Officer L. Mooney, the Burnham-based band will tour from Wanaka to Murchison. starting on January 28. The centres it will visit are: Wanaka (January 29), Fox Glacier and Franz Josef (January 30), Hokitika (January 31), Greymouth (February 1), Westport (February 2) and Murchison (February 3)
At some of these centres the band will give night concert. or make street marches.
