Eight nurses who started their training at Christchurch Hospital on January 7, 1936, have been celebrating their fortieth reunion. Here, four of them—Mesdames Kathleen Lyon (Wellington). May, Wilmshurst (Christchurch). Katharine Price (Christchurch), and Jean Williams (Dunedin), read a plaque in the Nurses’ Memorial Chapel yesterday. The reunion celebrations included a service at the chapel, which is to be demolished. The service «as conducted by the Rev. P. C. Williams, a son of a former Christchurch Hospital chaplain, the late Canon H. Williams.
