Distance of Stakes
Contestants in the New Zealand Golden Slipper Stakes at Oamaru on Saturday will have a straight run of 400 m before striking the first bend. The distance of the race has been reduced from 1700 m to 1600 m and will start at the entrance to the straight on the golloping course. Glowlight and Captain Coulter have been scratched from the Golden Slipper Stakes, allowing My One to re-enter the field. HonCe Gourmet has been scratched from the C. D. Wilson Memorial Handicap.
