Petitions for the windingup of Patrick Corporation,; Ltd, and two subsidiaries — Patcorp Investments, Ltd, ( and Patcorp Finance Pty.j .Ltd, have been adjourned un-( til March 1. The adjournment was! sought in the Equity Court by Mr G. Downes, counsel; for the Commercial Banking; Company of Sydney, Ltd,! which is the petitioning-; creditor for the winding-up' of the main company. Patrick Corporation; Limited is the petitioning creditor for the winding-up; of its subsidiaries. Mr Downes sought the ad-i journment after a meeting of! creditors to consider proposals for a scheme of recon-; struction of the group. The provisional liquidator (Mr J. H. Jamieson) told the! meeting that there was a •strong chance of the recon-, struction scheme succeeding, and that it would be in the interests of creditors. The Chief Judge in Equity! (Mr Justice Bowen) ad-1 journed the hearing until; March 1.
