Rolleston
Sir, — Your correspondent “Confused” has misinterpreted my statement on Rolleston. I believe the brief of the present planning group should be changed.
The group should stop planning for Rolleston, and as a matter of urgency, should carry out a population growth study of the whole Canterbury region. The extended study should take into account the effects of likely population increases on available resources. — Yours, etc., DEREK QUIGLEY. December 8, 1975.
