Marathon to Canadian
(N.Z.P.A.Reuter—Copyright) FUKUOKA (Japan). David John Chettle, a 24-year-old carpenter from Tasmania, was second yesterday in the tenth international marathon. The event was won by a Canadian, Jerome Drayton, a
30-year-old clerk at the 1976 Montreal Olympics organising committee. Drayton, winner of the 1969 event, covered the 42.195 km course in 2hr 10 min B.4sec. William Rodgers of the United States was third.
