New Zealand had moved into second position, 14 victory points behind Hong Kong, after 11 rounds of the open team competition in the Far East bridge championships, which will end on Tuesday. The standings after 11 rounds were.—Hong Kong, 67.08; New Zealand, 53.57; India, 52.53; Australia, 52.49; Taiwan, 49.47; Pakistan, 48.48; Indonesia, 48.47; Japan, 39.15; Thailand, 38.82; Philippines, 36.05; Malaysia, 30.17; Singapore, 10.16.
