Signature forged, says M.P.
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, Nov. 26. The member of Parliament for Eden, Mr M. K. Moore, lodged a complaint of forgery today with the Auckland police. His complaint arises from the sending of a letter to a ! Sandringham couple, Mr and Mrs A. Coppell, which purported to be from Mr Moore. Mr Moore has denied emphatically that he wrote the letter. The letter said he (Mr Moore) and Mr David Exel, one of the organisers of the Citizens for Rowling campaign were “very pleased with the current fruits of our campaign.” It added: “Everything! seems to be falling into place nicely.” Both Mr Moore and Mr Exel have denied the implication in the letter that Mr Moore had anything to do 1 with the Citizens for Rowling; campaign. Afer having his attention; drawn to the letter bv the; “New Zealand Herald" on: Tuesday, Mr Moore said to-; day that he had lodged a complaint with the police, alleging forgery of his signa ture.
