Maori Bishop at Cathedral
The third Maori Bishop (the Rt Rev. Manu Bennett) will preach the sermon in Christchurch Cathedral on Sunday evening. The vicar of Philipstown (the Rev. B. Turei), the principal of Te Wai Pounamu College (the Rev. H. Vercoe), and girls from Te Wai Pounamu College, will also attend.
Todd grants. — About $70,000 was expected to be available for grants by the Todd Foundation in 1976, the foundation’s chairman (Mr Brvan Todd) said yesterday. -(P.A3
