More changes ‘logical’

However, changes could be phased in without any abrupt action, he said. “I could direct a change immediately, but I must also be concerned with practical considerations as well as historic values, and we do not wish to be embroiled with any section of the community.” he said. “The matter arose from proper representations to the Government, and it has been given a great deal of thought. Obviously there are a whole host of other usages to be considered, and there are other names to. be looked at —Dawson Falls, for instance. “The Taranaki National Park Board may be able to promote the changes, and the public have the right to make representations to it.”
