Detectives were called to investigate two fires in Miramar factories early this morning. Firemen were called at 3.41 a.m. to Dunlop Engineering in Park Road, and found a fire burning slowly but strongly in a storeroom and
spreading into the roof. The blaze was under control in 20 minutes. The coni tents of the storeroom were destroyed and the roof over the main workshop severely [damaged. The firemen were still at the scene when a security officer checking premises in the area reported a fire at Tyree-Power Construction, also in Park Road. A couch was burning in a rest room.
