Appointment of vicar
The Rev. R. Carson has been appointed vicar of the parish of Hororata.
Mr Carson returned to New Zealand last year from a curacy in Chatham, Kent. Since then he has served in the parish of Cashmere.
He was born in Christchurch. and graduated bachelor of science from the University of Canterbury. He received his theological training at the London College of Divinity and St John’s College, Nottingham, from which he graduated bachelor of divinity. Mr Carson will take up his appointment early in December.
