Life gaol for union leader

(Tony) Boyle) has been sentenced to three consecutive life prison terms for the murder of his union rival, Joseph A. (Jock) Yablonski, Mrs Yablonski and! their daughter. Before imposing sentence, Judge Francis Vatania asked the 73-year-old Boyle if he had anything to say. “No, your Honour.’TeIplied Boyle. “All 1 can say is I’m innocent.” I A special prosecutor. Mr Richard Sprague, told Judge 'Catania that Boyle set in motion the whole chain of | events in which a whole , family was assassinated.
