N.Z. junior golf team
(N.Z. Press Association) NAPIER. Twelve players have been selected by the New Zealand Ladies’ Golf Union for the national junior team to play New South Wales in New Zealand in January. The team was announced after the national championships in Napier today by the chairman of selectors' (Mrs A. J. Lahmert, Gisborne). The venue for the match has not yet been decided. Members of the New Zealand team are:— K. Burns (Hawke’s BayPoverty Bay), S. Clephane (Canterbury), C. Hickey (Bay of Plenty-Thames Valley), C. Langlands (Bay of Plenty-Thames Valley), R. Low (Southland), P. Marks (Canterbury). A. Maskelyne (Taranaki), K. Maxwell (Auckland), B. Ormsby (Bay of Plenty-Thames Valley), C. Ramm (Wellington). T. Russell (Waikato), H. Ryan (Waikato).
Reserves, in order: K. Pearce (Hawke’s Bay-Poverty Bay), D. Woodhouse (Nelson-West CoastMarlborough), J. De Breuk (Nelson-West Coast-Marlborough).
