“Sport on One” begins at 10 a.m. today with its special programme for racegoers. Glyn Tucker reviews last week’s televised meeting and nominates the best bets; at today’s Otago Racing Club Meeting. At 10.30 a.m. there will be] another game of Three-A-Side featuring New Zealand's top sportsmen and] women.
The afternoon programme begins at 1.50 p.m. and after the programme preview, there are highlights from the' 1975 world speedway championships. in which the New Zealand rider, Ivan Mauger, took part. Today’s race meeting is the Otago Racing Club’s meeting at Wingatui and the first race can be seen at 2.15 p.m. There will be a further round from the Isola Equestrian Centre at 3 p.m. and at 3.30 there will be highlights lof the New Zealand wristI wrestling championships, i held last week in Hamilton.
