Canterbury TUP Products Ltd ELECTRICIANS APPLICATIONS are invited for Maintenance Electricians for the Company's $11.3 million Fibreboard Plant, nearing completion at Ashley. The Plant comprises log yard, chip handling, refining and drying equipment, board forming and pressing, associated trimming, sizing, sanding and coating facilities, pneumatic and mechanical conveying systems. Ancillary’ equipment includes a 24.000 lb/hour boiler, compressed air and plant water systems.The total horsepower is 6500 h.p. with 300 motors from fractional h.p. up to 1500 h.p. Included are 25 variable speed drives together with their associated solid state supply and control equipment. The Plant will build up to a 24 hour, 7 days a week operation.
