Mile invitation
An invitation to nominate Noodlum for the Stars Travel Miracle Mile on December 6 was extended by the president of the New Brighton Trotting Club (Mr G. N. Hammett) after the four-year-old had won the A. E. Laing Handicap on Saturday.
“Provided he’s fit and well at the time he’ll be there,” said his part-owner and trainer, Freeman Holmes. Noodlum is the first horse invited to nominate for this year’s feature race.
