(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND. Auckland (the holder) made no mistake in defending the A. S. Paterson (North Islandi Trophv in the last challenge of the season against Wellington, and will I now go on to meet the Sout h Island counterpart for the Welch Trophy. 1 Auckland won, 34£-13|.
