Excursion popular
Bookings were being made for “The Press” spring photographic excursion to Wanaka and Alexandra within hours of the newspaper reaching the streets yesterday. Mr P. F. Andrews, marketing manager of the Mount Cook and Southern Lakes Tourist Company, Ltd, said he was pleased with the response.
The excursion next weekend will be led by’ the i chief photographer of “The Press” (Mr Des Woods). Full | details are included in an ■advertisement on page 5 this! 1 morning.
