North B.H. shines on Aust, market again

North B.H. occupied a firming market on Australian stock exi changes yesterday, in the wake of further mineralisation at the North Mine, at Broken Hill. The shares were actively; i supported with 84,000 units! : changing hands at Sydney; and Melbourne. After soar-i ing to within 1c of its’best price for the year (136 c it' closed at 132 c net gain of 9c. Copper producers were! boosted by the rise in the! price of the metal. Peko■Walisend rose 10c to 320 c! and M.I.M. 5c to 215 c. Among the coal shares i t Utah rose to its highest l level for the week with a 6c increase at 760 c. Of the industrial shares B.H.P. held firm while the iWales and C.S.R. moved up, islightly. The C.B.A, recorded;

one of the biggest rises with, a 10c gain to 240 c. Tooth, E.Z. Industries,! Coles, Philip Morris and Grace Bros also had rises. Burns Philp gained 7c, to reach 172 c.
