Leisure centre approved
Plans for a leisure centre near the comer of Blenheim Road and Matipo Street were provisionally approved by the RiccartOn Borough Council on Tuesday evening. The proposal before the council, from Cargen Holdings. Ltd, was to erect a building with six squash courts, sauna baths, a refreshment area, and parking for 36 cars. The council reserved the right to approve the final site of the building within the section contemplated, the building’s design and soundproofing. and the landscaping of the section.
