A Z P. \ Reuter—Copyrtjht CARACAS. August 27 A Portuguese-borit electrician won the equivalent of $475,000 with a $1.75 bet when he went through the six-race card at the Caracas National Hippodrome. Mr Carlos dos Santos Marques is quoted as saying: “Luck had nothing to do with it 1 am a meticulous student of horses, jockeys and track conditions, and mv selection was made with cool logic.”
