f.V Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND. Paul Christopher Cheriton, aged 23, unemployed, was] i sentenced to six years’ imprisonment on a charge of manslaughter when he appeared before Mr Justice Mahon. The judge described the: case “as a bad type of manslaughter.” The prisoner had strangled another man and hidden his body in the cupboard. Cheriton had previously been found not guilty of murder of 54-year-old Dallis William Lishman, a barman,, in Epsom on January 16. The jury found Cheriton guilty of Imansiaughter. I
