The runaway British M.P John Stonehouse, on remanc in Brixton Gaol, London, or fraud charges has tabled 3/ Parliamentary’ questions asking about conditions in Brit ish prisons. One asked when prisoners at Brixton stopped having bromide put in their tea. Another asks the Attor ney-General to circulate z well-known speech on "The rights of an Englishman tc bail." Stonehouse has him self been refused bail five times. The questions are dowr for answer on October 14 the day after Parliament re sumes after the summei recess.
