The New Zealand GovernTment learnt nothing from the -{visit of the coloured South • African journalist, Mr Leslie •’Sehume, said the Prime Min■lister (Mr Rowling) in Parliament today. t{ Replying to Mr C. R. Marsishall (Lab., Wanganui) Mr ‘{Rowling said the Associate {Minister of Foreign Affairs ‘{(Mr Walding) had met. Mr Sehume and had learnt nothtiing to indicate that New Zealand should change its policy 1; towards South Africa. Answering Mr D. Thomson L(Nat.. Stratford) Mr Rowling said New Zealand did not bell lieve in trade sanctions with LSouth Africa because.it was ’{the view of the United Natations that they would hurt rlthe people they were designed to help.
