Citizen.—You may parade your own prejudices, so offensively expressed, only over your own name. I Didn’t Know.—Mr H. E. Connor, assistant director of the botany division of the D.5.1.R., agrees that the Irish yew is poisonous and that parents should ensure that their children do not eat it. The cruel plant (araujia) sometimes called the moth! plant, may be considered by; the Monarch butterfly to be! an acceptable substitute to, swan plant, as it belongs to; the same family. Another! possible substitute is, oleander, which is much more common than the cruel, plant in Canterbury.
