Imported stallion, Sica Dan, was destroyed al Birchwood SI ml. Whittlesea, Victoria, this week.
Sica Dan broke his back when he crashed into a fence while exercising in his paddock. His first crop of youngsters will race this year.
Sica Dan was rated the fastest horse in Europe in 1968.
