Basagoitia. president of the Chilean Tennis Federa tion, said Chilean officials had been told about the postponement by Mr B. Reay, secretary of the Internationa) Tennis Federation and of the Davis Cup committee. The two countries yvere scheduled to contest the final in Santiago from May 9 to 11 Mr Basagoitia said the Davis Cup Committee had also decided to postpone its decision on the elimination of Mexico and Colombia from the series for refusing to meet South Africa and would discuss the issue on April 17. Mexico and Colombia cited ) South Africa’s racial discrimination policies as the reason for refusing to play 'South Africa.
