Sir. — When South Vietnam was assisted by other [countries to preserve the [way of life it wanted, there I were many howls of protest [by people who held that the [South and North should be [left to work out their des[tiny without any' outside 'influence. There have been no protests about the massive aid poured into North Vietnam by Russia and China to assist that country in its efforts to dominate the South. — Yours, etc.,
