Houses taken over by clinical school
Most of the old houses used by the University of Canterbury near its former town site will be taken over by the Christchurch Clinical Medical School.
The houses, left vacant by; the university’s move to Ilam, will be used mainly for accommodation for fourth, fifth, and sixth-year students. Four of tile properties which are being converted will have places for 35 students. It is hoped that the first; house, at 277 Montreal Street,' will be ready in about three; months.
