News. The Arts have had their earnest Lobbyists, Keen Amateurs, and half-baked Hobbyists, With genuine Experts, even a Few Who know a cultural Thing or Two. The State contributes, on the Basis That Arts are all deserving Cases — Money injected by the Nation. Provides a Stimulus — or Sedation' 1 The Arts must have new Legislation! Community Arts Councils now share The Skills of Fiddlebow and Ploughshare. The School Hall and the Parish Pump. With Pickings from the County Dump, Elect their Best to play their Parts On Regional Councils of the Arts — Four of the Nine on each of Three, North, South, and Central, these shall be: The Organs spiritual, or ventral. Of Kiwi North, and South, and Central, Each with its old, distinct. Tradition, Its cultural Heritage, and Mission! High above All, in Wellington, Twelve council Seats well sat upon, Supportive of the Hinderparts Or Backroom Conclave of the Arts — The Few dispensing to the Many The Thoughts of Chairman K**th, if Any.
