Unsung champions
Sir, — I should like to express the thanks of my wife and myself to those members of your staff, and contractors, — especially the drivers who saw to it that we got our newspaper just as soon as it was humanly possible each morning through the storm and subsequent damage that affected much of the road along the coast. They were among the unsung champions still doing a good job in the emergency that has stretched settlers, railwaymen and Ministry of Works men to the limit. — Yours etc., DAVID J. STALLARD. Blenheim.
