Migration gain
GV.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, March 11. For the year ended January 31, 1975, the net migration gain to population was 30,479 compared with net: migration gains of 38,930 forj the year ended January 31,1 1974, and 24.943 for the 1973' year, said the Government Statistician (Mr E. A. Harris)! today. Since April 1, 1974, the net migration gain to population had been 35,058 com- ; pared with gains of 38,155 and 25,359 for the corresponding 10 months in the 1973 and 1972 April 1 year. In January, 1975, the net migration gain to population was 782.3 compared with gains of 10,741 and 2369 in the two previous Januaries. The statistics were provisional. said Mr Harris.
