Easy win for Armbro Tryax

Armbro Tryax, which has the New Zealand Oaks on Anzac Day as her main mission, gained a dashing win in the .Marsden Handicap at Greymouth last night.
j Doody Townley sent the j Armbro" Del filly to the front with 2200 m to run and from then on she had her rivals well covered. At the end she won by a length from Captain Flak with Vikki Cash making ground for third clear of Sunloafer, Pat Nash and Old . Crow. The promising three-year-old trotter. Best Bet, brought a welcome change of luck to his Christchurch owner- ! trainer, Clarrie Rhodes, when he won the Tainui Handicap. He led over the last 1200 m and raced away to win with ■ something in hand by four ! lengths from Bonny Lyn and Princess Gourmet. A gelding by Lumber Dream from Arahina, Best Bet is bred to be a pacer. However, he is a natural trotter.
