Morrinsville was named over-: all champion at the end of three days of competitions held by the United Fire Brigades Association at Christchurch It was also first in the feather-weight pump events Championship results:--For all events: Morrinsville <51.66 points: 1, Te Awamutu (44) 2 Palmerston North <33* 3. Feather-weight pump events: Morrinsville i, Te Awamutu 2. All box events: Palmerston North 1 Morrinsville 2. Results from Saturday’s events: Four men feather-weight change-over: Te Awamutu, 48.2 sec 1; Kaponga 49.65ec, 2; Palmerston North, 50.3 sec. 3. Four men feather-weight pump I with collecting breeching: Hokitika. 36.45ec. 1; Westport. 36.65ec, 12; Waipa Mill, 3«.6sec. 3.
