Champion to retire

The world ski-ing chamipion, Anne Marie ProellMoser (Austria), will retire before the 1976 Winter Olympic Games in Innsbruck.
The five-time World Cup ; winner was widely expected to take the opportunity to wipe out sad memories of her Olympic failure at Sapprao, Japan, in 1972, when she came away without a gold medal.
But in special reports from Garibaldi, Canada, where Mrs i Proell-Moser is competing in! World Cup events, she was] quoted as saying that she has > decided to quit before Innsbruck.
“I am 22 and I want to I lead a normal life. Olympic; medals don’t excite me,” she’ was quoted as saying.
