SOCCER CUP CHALLENGE
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND. Auckland will play Wellington in a representative soccer match at Newmarket Park on March 9. Wellington has* lodged a challenge for the Air New Zealand Challenge Trophy which Auckland won when it beat Canterbury, 1-0, last month.
The Auckland squad is: S. Davies, V. Hope-Ede, J. Warrington, K. Weymouth, A. Elrick, J. Smith (North Shore); K. Curtin, T. Sibley, J. Houghton, B. Armstrong, B. Turner, D. Taylor, W. de Graaf, E. Thomas (Mount Wellington); K. Stratful, J. Lagg, D. Hodginson (Eastern Suburbs); I. Ormond (Blockhouse Bay). '
