Fluoridation
Sir, —It is of great comfort to know we do have some people concerned for the well being of humanity as a whole even if they are the minority. Your correspondents “Unemotional” and “Freedom" speak with
thought and intelligence. It is only a pity they do not have doctor to their name on the subject of fluoridation. I would like to know the truth about fluoride clogging the water pipes and what harmful chemicals are used to unclog them. Fluoride surely can be issued by the Health Department in tablet form to schools, etc. I wonder if there is the mighty dollar involved in the selling and enforcing of this substance on all and does Dr Scobie enjoy some gain from fluoridation. For myself, I hope we continue with some democracy and do not have fluordiation forced on us. Perhaps rainwater is the only alternative left to pure water lovers.—Yours, etc., JUST A NURSE.
