Health education
Sir,—It is good for us to hear from Dr Beaven about our highest consumption of sugar in the world, our tendency to overeat, and a high obesity rate. Surely another result is poor teeth in spite of a good dental clinic service? What proportion of us now live in flats with little or no garden, ride in motorcars — unless we make a point of walking — and so lack the exercise necessary for healthy living? All honour to those doctors who urge education for health, in schools at every level, for parents and all.—Yours, etc., N. BECK. * February 25, 1974.
