Buses attacked
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, Feb. 24. Seven Auckland Regional Authority buses had windows broken, seats slashed, and flooring and electrical equipment ripped up by vandals during the week-end. Instruments on the driver’s control board were smashed in most of the buses parked at the North Shore depot, and stores were strewn about where they had crashed through windows. The floor of one bus had been ripped up, exposing the engine.
