Wednesday’s film
The Wednesday afternoon ’ ; im is "'nemy General,” I ade in 1960. Van Johnson stars as O.S.S. agent. Lemaire, who is working for the French underground and particularly with a Free French officer. A plot emerges to ambush a Nazi convoy that includes a high-ranking general. The general escapes and in reprisal. orders the execution of hostages, one of whom is ptte, Lemaire’s sweetheart.
