New Zealand daylight saving time officially' ended at 3 am. yesterday, when clocks were put back an hour.
Shift workers were paid extra hour of overtime for | working an “eight-hour" •shift—but were paid for only seven hours work when [clocks were put forward one [hour four months ago. i Although there was some ■ confusion early yesterday morning, there was no report of church-goers arriving ‘an hour early for Sunday i services.
