In the tomb were three: skeletons of slaves, and al wooden coffin with exquisite| animal mask designs, and thunder and cloud decora-' tions. The finds, which provided important scientific data for the study of Chinese slave I society, dated from the Shang dynasty, which ruled from the sixteenth toI eleventh centuries B.C.
