Late goal forces 1-1 draw

Leicester City, a goal down in extra time, hit back to force a 1-1 draw with Arsenal in an English Cup fifth round soccer replay at Leicester yesterday. The clubs drew 0-0 last Saturday and there was still no score after another 90 minutes play, Arsenal seemed booked for a home quarterfinal against West Ham United when John Radford headed it into the lead in the ninth minute of extra time, but Leicester, the bottom club in the first division, equalised through Alan Birchenall with only 10 minutes left. Other results were: ENGLISH LEAGUE Division one.—West Ham 0. Liverpool 0. Division three.—Chesterfield 1, Halifax 1; WalsaU 2, Watford 0. SCOTTISH CUP Fourth round.—Dundee United 0, Aberdeen 1. SCOTTISH LEAGUE Division one.—Dumbarton 5, Arbroath 1.
Soccer.—ltaly beat Norway, 4-1. in a soccer international at Florence, after leading. 2-0, at half-time. Graziani, Chinaglia, Savoldi, and Cordova scored for Italy, and Fugleseth (penalty) for Norway. Volleyball.—The Australian women’s volleyball team completed a two-match tour of Hong Kong by defeating the national side, 15-7, 15-8. 16-14.
Rugby.—The All Black flanker, lan Kirkpatrick will play for Brisbane University in a pre-sea-son carnival at the end of March. The university also hopes to have the All Black centre, Bruce Robertson, in its side.
