H.A.R.T. membership
Sir, — If Mr Richards claims that H.A.R.T. has no regular membership then it would appear that we are dealing with a one-man band. To whom or to what then, were Student Association funds voted? To Mr Richards or to H.A.R.T? To distinguish between the two seems to be a form of men- , tai gymnastics and his state- . ment that he is not a mem- , ber of H.A.R.T. would logi- ' cally be true — he is ■ H.A.R.T. This raises the ' point that student money al- I located to H.A.R.I. was in j (fact used to support one: Iman’s peisonal viewpoint. It I I was bad enough when a stu-| jdent executive voted these' {funds without the consent of] jail students concerned but it| {becomes even more ominous 1 when we now learn that the ; same funds were giver to an lindividual or to a “state of I mind” — whichever you (prefer. — Yours etc., M. CUNEEN. i I February 16, 1975. ,
