Shunting of shares
Referring to shunting of I shares from the London to the New Zealand register, the chairman of Challenge Corporation (Mr R. R. Trotter) said: “The Reserve Bank restriction on the shunting of shares from the London to the New Zealand register by (New Zealand residents has I recently been lifted. The transfer of shares from the New Zealand to the London register remains prohibited other than against specific authority from the Reserve Bank.”
