Just-a-Glow shows dash at Addington trials

Just-A-Glow showed that she will be a force to be reckoned with in the next month or so when she won her race at trials held at Addington Raceway yesterday Illusionist. Freight Train. Armbro Don. Proper, l andora. Best Bet, X an Fair and Living Doll were others to show to advantage.

Just-A-Glow missed the start of her race, but Avenge set a slow pace early and Pat O’Reilly i sent Just-A-Glow up smartly after about 400 m. She took the lead before: the 200 m and from then on' was not extended to win by! a length in 3:30.6 for the! 2600 m. the last 800 m in 59.65ec, and the final 400m 1 in 29.45ec. Just-A-Glow will probably; race next at the New Brighton meeting tomorrow week, to be followed by the Ad-! dington Easter carnival next month. She should not bej long winning another race. '
