Tenor home
The New Zealand tenor, Michael McGifford, has cancelled four concerts in New York State to return to visit his mother, who recently suffered a heart attack. Although he will be in New Zealand until May, Mr McGifford will perform only twice at benefit concerts—one for the Hamilton Hospital, where his mother has been convalescing, and one for Kimi Ora, the new cultural hall at Turangawaewae IMarae.
